Exam Pattern
Computer Based Test (CBT) (for both Constable and Sub-Inspector)
Level: The level of examination will be 10th/Matriculation (for Constable) and Graduation (for Sub-Inspector).
Format and Syllabus:
- Total Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 120
- You will get 1 mark for each correct answer.
- Marks will not be deducted for questions you do not attempt.
- 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer (negative marking)
- The process of normalization of marks of CBT examinations conducted in different shifts will be adopted.
Minimum passing percentage for eligibility:
- Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section EWS and Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) – 35%
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 30%
The marks obtained in CBT will be counted in shortlisting the candidates for further stages of the recruitment process.
