Under this scheme you will get assistance subsidy on motorcycle i.e. bike and ice box i.e. the box that comes to keep ice around and keep things cold is called ice box. People will have to use this scheme to transport fish.

Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana
Beneficiary “Motorcycle with Icebox” Unit Cost Rs. 75000/- as against 40 percent assistance for general category i.e. assistance up to Rs.30,000 or 40 percent of actual purchase whichever is less is available to the general category beneficiary. Assistance upto Rs.45,000/- or 60% of actual purchase whichever is less for women and ST/SC category beneficiaries. becomes available to the beneficiary. 60% contribution of the central government and 40% of the state government will be in the assistance received.
Motorcycle Ice Box Scheme Support Information:
(1) Online application under “Motorcycle with Icebox” support component under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) implemented by the Government of India for approval of this scheme.
(2) Beneficiary shall submit the purchase and operation bills, vouchers, receipts all in original at the time of claim (Financial Sanction) at the District Office.
(3) The work under this scheme has to be done according to the self-content project prepared by you. (4) Implementation shall be done as per the instructions of the Government of India and the State Government from time to time.
(p) Beneficiary “Motorcycle with Icebox” unit cost Rs. 75000/- as against 40 percent assistance for general category i.e. assistance up to Rs.30,000 or 40 percent of actual purchase whichever is less is available to the general category beneficiary. (6) The District Office shall conduct physical verification of the purchase of “motorcycle with icebox” itself. Also, a certificate regarding the verification of the purchase bill should be given. Then the proposal for sanctioning the assistance should be sent to the Head of the Department on time.
(7) Pre-approval (in-principle approval) will be given to eligible applicants/beneficiaries through Head Office, Gandhinagar. (8) Assistance payment will be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT.
(9) Beneficiaries shall submit a self-content project detailing the availability of financial resources (loan, bank statement, etc.) of their share amount.
(10) The maintenance and working expenses of the fish transport vehicles shall be met by the beneficiaries at their own expense.
(11) Government of India/ Government of Gujarat shall not be responsible for any loss arising out of purchase, operation, maintenance and management of fish transportation facilities.
(12) Beneficiaries shall comply with any rules/laws imposed from time to time on maintenance and operation of fish transport facilities by the concerned State / Union Territory as well as Central Government.
(13) The fish transport vehicle procured under the Pradhan Mantri Matsyasampada Yojana (PMMSY) shall be used only for the purpose of fisheries. If it is found to be used for any purpose other than this purpose, in such case, the amount of assistance will be recovered from the beneficiary along with interest by the Government of India.
(14) “Motorcycle with Icebox” Only applicant/beneficiary who is a holder of valid fish sale license related to fisheries can apply under this scheme.
(15) A fish transport vehicle procured with financial assistance from the Government under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy shall be superscribed “aided under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) of the Government of India” and its photograph Financial sanction (at the time of claim) has to be uploaded.
